Groundsman (1 Year Fixed-Term Contract)

The New loveLife Trust is an NGO that campaigns with nationwide community level outreach and supports programmes that promote healthy, HIV-free living among South
African teens. loveLife has reached unprecedented scale in implementing cutting-edge comprehensive and combined social behaviour change programming face-to-face with
adolescents.
The New loveLife Trust is looking to recruit a Grounds-Man in the province mentioned above to maintain cleanliness standards of the Office and provide administrative support to the Y-Centre. The successful applicant will be required to fulfil the following primary functions in a professional manner and with technical excellence:
– Ensuring that the Y centre is clean
– Maintaining plants and laundry
– Executing errands like Photostatting/ mail
– Assisting with catering and other preparations for meetings and workshops during in house training sessions
– Assist with requisitions for materials and replenishing of stocks (promotional & branding materials)
– Assisting with other duties if required to do so
Suitable candidates will need to satisfy all the following requirements:
– Grade 12/ Matric
– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Prior work experience with regards to cleaning
– Excellent knowledge related to HIV/AIDS
– Self-initiator, pro-activeness, established leadership qualities
– Willingness to work extended hours and over weekends when required to do so
Total remuneration package: R 4 411per month
