Job Description | RCL FOODS has a requirement for 1 Infield Assistant to join our Food Partners team. The role will be based in Pretoria West and will be required to: Provide assistance and analysis as required to your designated internal Sales Team. Provide analysed data to team to drives the sales force system. Provide the necessary feedback for reports for the team that drive performance and development. Provide operational support to the Operations team on handheld technology system. |
Minimum Requirements | Matric (Grade 12) Completed Diploma: Administration General administration experience preferably in a sales environment |
Duties & Responsibilities | 1. STRATEGY FORMULATION 1.1 Support National Strategy Formulation and Implementation • Provide data for the Team Managers that will provide insight to customer and regional plans; and measurement thereof. • Feedback on sales force performance and delivery against targets through the Handheld technology reporting adjustments/ learnings; working with the Consumer Analysts; National Sales Trainer and Channel Marketing. • This should constitue 30% of your time 2. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT 2.1 Manage Account Relationships • Work closely with the Regional Outlet Managers/ Regional Trade Managers/ Channel Marketing to produce insightful field feedback through monitored data sources. • Infield focus implemation and monintoring should constitutes approximately 30% of your time. 2.2 Assist with the Planning for the Business Development Consultant/ Training Teams • Work with the Consumer Analyst; Regional Managers and the Data Management Team across the business as required to represent your teams input and output from Outlet Targeting Model. • Your involvement will include assistance on route planning work on key focus areas and setting of training appointments for the In-Field Trainers. • Your OTM and route planning work should consist broadly of 30% of your time. 2.3 Sales Team Administration • Each Team will have different administration responsibilities for you, such as pricing, listing or promotional documentation and they should constitute approximately 10% of you time. • Assist with formatting/confidential and routine reports and create presentations using word processing and related MS Office applications. • Assist in Co-ordinating, plan and prepare for meetings and presentations. • Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution • Facilitate colleagues’ expectations and communicate appropriately • Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met, the potential risks thereof and provide appropriate resolution • Manage colleagues’ expectations and communicate appropriately • Demonstrate willingness to help others and “go the extra mile” to meet team targets and objectives 3. MARKETING MANAGEMENT 3.1 New product Development Analysis • Provide support in the analysis of the Infield progress by individuals, territories, customers and channels as required. 3.2 Marketing and Promotion • Work on providing support to In-Field team on sales promotion POS implementation and allocation by territory, customers and channels as required. |
