Waterberg TVET College is contributing towards the skills development by providing Internship opportunities with funding secured from ETDP SETA for graduates who would like to gain work experience and exposure in the
following field of study:
- REF: VVTVETC 2021/67 – ICT (1 x Degree Graduate)
- REF: WTVETC 2021/68 – ICT (1 x Diploma Graduate)
The College is herewith inviting graduates to apply.
SITE: Waterberg TVET College: Central Office (Mokopane)
REMUNERATION: Stipend of R6,500 per month for Degree Graduate
Stipend of R4,250 per month for Diploma Graduate
DURATION: 24 months
REQUIREMENTS:
BSC in IT and Computer Science/National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm to learn various operating systems, technologies and applications.
DUTIES:
Assist with System development which includes: • Understanding of System Development life Cycle (SDLC) • Proficient in SQL Web and Desktop Programming languages • Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (00P) Understanding of Unified Modelling language (UML) and Software planning Solid understanding of Database Management Systems (DBMS) like MySQL • Assist with Networking which includes: Planning and Network designing Installing, Troubleshooting and Repairing Network Equipment • Understanding of Voice Over IP (VOIP) Understanding of CISCO equipment • basic understanding of Windows Server Management
